Overview
Description
As part of Crate & Barrel’s summer outdoor collection, I led both the textile and graphic design efforts for a coordinated line of pillows, umbrellas, and outdoor furnishings. I helped bring the collection to life from creating repeat patterns to crafting the visual assets that supported sales and in-store presentation.
Role: Textile Designer
Client: Crate & Barrel
Deliverables: Repeat Pattern Designs, Fabric Optimization for Sublimation, Colorways, Product Photography, Tag Graphics, Sales Presentations
Material & Print Optimization
I selected the ideal fabric types for Crate & Barrel’s outdoor needs, focusing on durability, water resistance, and color fastness. My print setup for sublimation ensured efficient use of materials and maintained high visual quality across applications.
Product Photography
Styled and photographed finished textiles for client presentations and internal marketing materials.

Concept & Pattern Development
I began by creating mood boards and concept presentations based on trending color palettes, which I presented to Crate & Barrel's brand team for approval. Using original watercolor artwork as inspiration, I then developed a cohesive suite of repeat patterns tailored for sublimation printing. I crafted multiple colorways to help round out the collection, giving Crate & Barrel a variety of options to suit different customer palettes.
